Hey there! I'm Joe Verduzco, a graphic designer with a knack for blending creativity with a touch of fun. My journey began at Fresno State, where I honed my design chops and discovered that coffee and late-night brainstorming sessions were the perfect combo. Post-college, I became the Creative Director at The Business Journal in Fresno, crafting visuals that made business news look anything but boring.
After that, I took my talents to Bitwise Industries, where I was a designer until the company's unfortunate downfall. But as they say, when one door closes, you dust off your portfolio and find another! After Bitwise, I started my own freelancing business, JSV Design LLC, where I’ve had the pleasure of working with some incredible clients like Heya Wellness, Central California Easterseals, California Native Plant Society, Fresno EDC, and Rotech Healthcare.
Eventually, I landed at Fresno County EDC as a Business Attraction Specialist, where I now use my design skills to market Fresno County as the next big thing for businesses. Who knew that making economic growth look good could be so rewarding?
When I'm not in design mode, I'm probably hiking a trail, catching a wave, or attempting to make my garden grow something other than weeds. I live in Fresno's eclectic Tower District with my beautiful fiancé and my 15-year-old daughter, who keeps me grounded and occasionally reminds me that I'm not as cool as I think I am. I'm also a huge Marvel Comics nerd, a proud leader of the Fresno Beer Runners (yes, we run and then we drink beer—balance is key), and I love working out to justify all the post-run beers.
So, whether it's crafting a brand, a digital campaign, or just a really solid dad joke, I’m your guy.
